The building feels what’s happening inside and outside its walls like a haunted house which is alive like a creature and has walls for skin, doors for orifices and rooms for organs. When the house feels, it starts to sway and rock its foundations. The house of The Ape is filled with feeling. Each melody line is a feeling that walks through the house from room to room, entering through an orifice door jack to go from organ and organ and leave the body through the skin with the heat that the house emits. The body house of The Ape is not ashamed of the heat it gives off. An Ape that lives generates heat and sweats out melodies. So why wash them off? When they glisten on the skin and travel across it like surface electricity to illuminate the city around the house with the glow of the euphoric melancholy of high voltage sentient sound. |
